About Hypnosis

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state of heightened awareness.
Hypnosis is usually thought of as being a natural state of heightened awareness. Often in this state there is focused attention and often there is deep relaxation.

Hypnosis is also described as a sleep-like state usually induced by another person called a hypnotist. In this heightened state of deep relaxation and awareness, the hypnotized subject is susceptible to heightened suggestibility.

In this heightened state of suggestibility, one can be in touch with his source of creativity, can explore sources of his inhibitions and can be reprogrammed with new patterns for transformations. After training with a hypnotist, subjects can be taught to hypnotize themselves to effect these transformations.

What are the Benefits?

Why is Hypnosis transforming?
How can it help? Clients come to hypnotists expressing desires for some type of change. The expressed desire was initiated at one level of their conscious minds. At another level there seems to be a resistance to making these changes. Often these resistance’s reside with our analytical minds.

Gain access to inner wisdom.
We use hypnosis to bypass our analytical minds to access our inner wisdom. With heightened awareness focused inward our goal of transforming is achieved. This experience is then retrieved and released to our conscious minds leading to personal changes. Perhaps you have loftier goals or greater challenges, such as:
